Dry hands are a common problem for most of the population. Because of its natural constitution, the skin of the hands is drier and more fragile since it contains a few sebaceous glands secreting lipids that provide natural protection. Moreover, hands are often subject to environmental stress (wind, cold) and everyday tasks such as manual activities, etc. Just like the hands, nails can be weakened by everyday tasks and frequent washing, in particular in the presence of aggressive detergents, which can strip protective lipids from their surface and leave them weakened. This inconvenience can be minimised and prevented through the regular use of moisturising hand cream.
